On Veteran's Day

I will admit, with shame, that for a large part of my life I didn't give much thought to Veteran's Day, despite having several relatives who have served our country over the years.

Of course I am thankful for all the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our country. And I am thankful for the spouses, children, and families who sacrifice right alongside those who serve our country.

Today I am especially thankful for my brother-in-law, Jason, and all he has given:
