It's a. . .

Hi!

I know what kind of baby we're having!

Harper will be a big sister to a little -

You know what might be fun?

I'll give everyone 24 hours or so to leave a comment* and guess whether the baby is a boy or girl. Any strong feelings out there? Now's your chance to prove how psychic you are!

If you are among the five people or so we didn't make wait, no fair "guessing" or giving it away, you'll have to keep the secret until tomorrow.

We had lots of fun today at the ultrasound, with our little one squirming all over the place and Harper claiming that the baby was, "So cute!"

*(Even if you haven't commented here before, make yourself known! Just click the word "comments" below this post and give me your guess. You can sign your name or just be anonymous -- you don't need a blogger account to leave a comment. And sometimes the word verification doesn't go through on the first try, if your comment is still in the comment box after you've tried to publish it, just give it one more try.)

Edited to add: Only two guesses and this is already way more fun that I thought it would be. Please, keep the speculation coming!!!

In an astonishing turn of events, there was another small child hiding all this time and you are having TWINS!!! I'm guessing one of each... oh yeah!

***To all those seeing this, that was a complete fabrication and guess. Please don't take it as truth, thought I would for it to be so.***

My official guess is it's a girl. I keep thinking someone I know is having a girl, but my cousin had another boy. And everyone else I know having babies are boys. So it's a girl for you. ;)

First of all, from your previous post, that was definitely the cutest stall tactic ever used!
I pulled your blog up to see if you had posted the news, and we have to wait. What a tease! :o)
And I am going to guess that you are having a boy! All of my friends/family who are preggie are having boys, so it seems to be that time.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking I may send you an e-mail like you did for me to try and get the info early. I'm eager to hear which experience you prefer...finding out or not finding out. I swore I wouldn't with this one so I could say I'd experienced both...but I am weak. So you'll have to fill me in.

So glad the baby was squirmy and healthy! What a blessing!

I'm guessing girl. And I'm almost always wrong. Although I was right about thinking my current pregnancy was a boy...very unusual for me. So if you are having a girl, perhaps my intuition is becoming more accurate.

YOU! ARE! KILLING! ME!

Oh you are a tease!

I'm glad that you're enjoying keeping all of your devoted fans in suspense.

Okay, fair is fair... my guess notions toward a girl. But on the other hand, I am loving to toy with the idea of boy / girl twins! How fun would that be?!?!? Hey, Jamie said it first, I'm just jumping on her bandwagon!

Congrats on your healthy, squirmy, little __________ !

Are you going to hold out us with names too?

Just to let you know, we'll all be checking back at exactly 11:37 a.m. tomorrow to find out!!!

24 hours, right?

Congrats Kelsey. I just got back from Europe and heard the news. I am so happy for you and Matt (and Harper)! I am going to through in my guess of a girl and suggest the name Kristin!

Since you said I could have two guesses, my first guess is ________ and my second guess is _________. Actually I know what is coming as I was in the room when it was discovered. After tomorrow, it will be great because the baby won't be referred to as it anymore but instead as (s)he!!

Love, Matt

Boy! From your dad's comment it read to me as "little....boy". I have been wrong in the past though!

This was WAY more fun when I did it. Not knowing is torture.

Hi Kelsey and Matt--Fooling around with some blogs recommended by USAToday, I casually checked in on yours. What great news! I'm very happy and excited for all of you.
So, to add my 2 cents, Harper will be a big sister to . . . a little Bundle of Joy who's swaddled in a pale blue blanket.
(Oh well, girls look good in blue too, don't they?)

Oh my goodness! I'm the 19th comment!

I'm guessing that it's twin boys. Identical twin boys. To be named Jerome and Tito.

I'm guessing a boy... because isn't that idealistic? One girl and one boy. Can't wait to find out.

GIRL (I'm 1 for 18). This means boy. But I still think girl.
