Two More Things

(Two posts in one day, can you handle it?)

1. Leaving comments is a great way to encourage posting! I've mentioned before that comments are fun, kind of like getting actual, personal, non-bill, mail in the mailbox. Don't leave a comment if you don't have anything to say, of course, just know that reading comments lets me know that people are reading this and want to continue to do so.

2. In exactly one month Harper will be TWO YEARS OLD! Is this as surprising to you as it is to me? It goes too fast. . .

(Harper's impending second birthday is especially disturbing to the part of my brain which still believes I just graduated from high school a few months ago.)

Ohhhh, I can handle it. And you better believe it. There is no frequency of posting I can't handle. I have the persistance of a dog.

TWO YEARS OLD. What?? I really do sympathize because we were making Christmas plans recently and Cal's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY came up. Huh? Whose first birthday? You mean MY newborn?

And one more thing? Sorry to use your blog as a message board, Kels, but this comment is for Kristin, who commented after I did on your last post.

Kristin: I do not know you. However, I would like to say thanks because FINALLY someone appreciates my keen ability to irritatingly pester someone into doing what I want them to (e.g., get Kels to post more updates by filing my official complaints over email).

Well since you are being so wonderful by commenting on my blog so often the least I can do is give you one!! I love seeing pictures of Harper and hearing about all the adventures, it makes me miss my munchkins so much!! Funny story- I took Mitch (who's 2) over to my parents house to see Zeke (the dog) and I told him to ask my mom if he could give Zeke a treat. My mom said he could give him one. So he gets one, looks at my mom and says with one finger pointing, one more? My mom goes no because his tummy will hurt. Then she says more to me than him well you could break that treat into two. I tell her, mom we DON'T break things or cut things in half...otherwise all heck breaks loose!! Your story about Harper and the banana just reminded me of it. Okay- I'm done rambling now.... have a great day!

Despite the fact that in Harper's mind I am equal to the boogy monster I still admire and adore her and will faithfully check the blog daily! Keep on pushing Kelsey when she gets lazy Erin, I'm counting on you! - Kristin (Auntie Shannon's roomie)!
