Cox Arboretum

I think I've mentioned before how we live in an area with a wonderful park system. One of my favorite local (free!) places is Cox Arboretum. It is doesn't have a playground, but it is a terrific place to be on a beautiful day. There's no charge for admission or parking, even field trips there are free. It is truly a local treasure. Monday was glorious day and we hit the arboretum right after storytime at the library. I was glad we were able to make it, I don't think the beautiful tulips there are long for this world. Turtles sunning themselves, gorgeous flowers, what more could a person ask for?
