At Least She's Enthusiastic

So many things have brought me joy in parenting, not the least of which is sharing musicals with my children.

Harper is just adorable as she sings this song. The enthusiasm! The breath she takes before she sings a new phrase! The big ending! By the way, I love how you tell her it's time for the big finish...a song like this could just keep going on and on, couldn't it?! (smile)

I LOVE the "bet your bottoms dollar" parts. And the close up shots of Michael actually turned out really good too.

Oops, I mean the way she says it, "GET your bottoms dollar." Hee!

This is the third morning in a row that Ruth has specifically requested to watch "movie. Harper singing" during breakfast. Today, she kept staring at her in awe, saying, "big girl. Harper big girl. Ruth big girl." I can't wait for them to meet!
I love you!!

Love it!

And I, too, get a huge kick out of introducing my kids to musicals. I am not kidding when I tell you that my three are fans of the King Herod song from Jesus Christ Superstar. Gives me faith that they've inherited my flare for irreverence. :-)

OH NO!!! That is the cutest ever! I think that I laughed every time that Harper's mouth made the greatly exaggerated "O U T" a little bigger each time! And Michael? Seriously. CUTE. Boy!
