Overheard

Yesterday, while Harper was supposed to be taking a nap, I heard this little drama playing out in her bedroom. . .

Thunk!
(Sound of stuffed animal hitting the floor, having been unceremoniously launched from the bed.)

"Oh no! Ehyephant fell down! Where is my animal phone?" Pause. "Hehyo? (Hello?) Fireman partment? Come quick! Ehyephant fell down! Okay? Okay. Sank you."

---

Thunk!
(Another animal.)

"Oh no! Yehyo (Yellow) Bear fell down! I need my phone!" Pause. "Hehyo? Fireman partment? I need help. The bear is on the fyoor! Oh sank you."

---

Thunk. . .

You get the idea.

That is just about the cutest story I've ever heard. Thanks for sharing the giggle with us.

Zachariah has started really dancing in the past few weeks. He recently started moving his hands with his feet. Yesterday he was dancing really funny. I was doing all I could not to crack up completely. I knew if I did he'd stop.

I love that these babies can keep us smiling! Maybe my favorite part about being a mom.

It's stories like this that make me want streaming video throughout our house. Toddlers are the CUTEST when no one is watching. I love stolen moments like this.

Cute cute cute!

Kels, you do such a good job spelling it out so we know exactly how adorable Harper sounds...
I sent you an email about visiting next week, hope we are able to connect...

I love it!

What a good little samaritan you are raising there! It is so nice to hear how concerned she is for her animals. Enough to call the fireman partment to come rescue them!

Cuteness overload!
