Harper and the Baby

The questions/discussion about this coming baby have hardly let up and I'm thinking it's going to be quite a long wait for Harper. She, by the way, has a baby in her tummy, too. Although, hers is a girl baby. The other day she asked if we could lift our shirts up and put our tummies together so the babies could talk to each other. Of course I obliged.

Tonight, as I was putting her in bed, Harper asked me if she could carry the baby down the hallway. She looked at me very seriously and said, "I promise I will put two hands on him."

I'm still curious to know how you were feeling during the first trimester. I'm especially curious because you're doing the girl/boy combo like me, and I wonder if you had less nausea this time around? More fatigue? Since you waited so long to tell us, we missed our opportunity to hear all those details.

Too flipping cute. And also, on your last post, it is true and amazing and kind of sad and tremedously awesome how Harper is growing into a little girl. She is a gem, that one. I love feeling like I know her, through your blog & just talking to you. Hearing your Harper stories makes me excited for Calum's next year, instead of making me want to always hit the pause button.
